Verizon Chooses IVA for Trailers

Verizon-logo-bigHADDON HEIGHTS, NJ   May, 2012 –  Internet Video Archive has signed a comprehensive agreement with Verizon to provide trailers for both Verizon Fios and for Redbox Instant.  Under the terms of the agreement, IVA will begin working on the required formats and delivery over the summer.  Trailers will begin showing up on Fios in the third quarter of 2012 with more complete implementation by the end of the years.  Verizon’s Fios service is available in 13 states and has approximately six million subscribers.

IVA will also be providing trailers for RedBox Instant, an online video service that is a joint venture between Verizon and Redbox Automated Retail, LLC.  The new service is in alpha testing and will be rolling out later in 2012.  Redbox operates over 30,000 kiosks in the US and has rented over 1.5 billion discs to date.
